Used in Aluminum applications. This is required to transition from aluminum cable to 5 feet or more of Copper cable before connecting to your ground rod or ground plate. Connection is made at least 12 inches above grade. Use one for each grounding location. All tops of ground rods or plates must be buried at least 2 feet below grade. You CAN’T ground with just aluminum.
